Palsbara in Force

Something that the posters on the Huffington Post all loath are "Israel firsters," people who will go onto every Israel thread and spin the facts to make Israel look good. These kind of people are pathetic propagandists and are transparent in their attempt to shill for their cause.

The problem, of course, is that there are a lot more "Palestinian firsters" on the HP, but they suffer no criticism for their actions. Let me give you an example.

The Huffington Post covered the story of a Roman statue discovered in Ashkelon. What did the HPers have to say about it?

RubalKhali
This statue was found in Palestine, not Israel

Give Palestine back to the Romans, at least they would treat the Palestinians better and leave some good art behind, rather than razor wire, destruction and hatred.

It was in Pa lestine but then I srael build the Aparthei d Wall around the statue and s tole it, too.

Avirahim
Israeli conquest of Ashkelon:
"During the 1948 war, the Egyptian army occupied a large part of Gaza including Majdal. Over the next few months, the town was subjected to Israeli air-raids and shelling.[
15] All but about 1,000 of the town's residents had fled by the time it was captured by Israeli forces as a sequel to Operation Yoav on November 4, 1948.[15] General Yigal Allon ordered the expulsion of the remaining Arabs but the local commanders did not do so and the Arab population soon recovered to more than 2,500 due mostly to refugees slipping back and also due to the transfer of Arabs from nearby villages.[10][15] Most of them were elderly, women, or children.[10] During the next year or so, the Arabs were held in a confined area surrounded by barbed wire which became commonly known as the "ghetto".[10][16][17] Moshe Dayan and Prime Minister David Ben-Gurion were in favor of expulsion, while Mapam and the Israeli labor union Histadrut objected."
I wonder in what part of this disputed country this statue was found?
Is it Zionist or Palestinian property?
Ashkelon belongs to Palestine!

So even when an article is about a Roman statue and archeology, the HPers can't help but shill their politics and contrived slogans. And they call Zionists propagandists! So hypocritical.

  1. Yup. Ashkelon has never been "occupied" territory. The anti-Zios' reaction is revealing. Its Israel's existence they're really opposed to, not to the so-called "occupation." Its not like they've looked at a map. And they don't really care. For you see, to them the reason there is no peace in the Middle East is on account of the damned Jews being where they shouldn't be, like in Ashkelon!

And note how eagerly they swallow the Roman rewrite of history to erase the Jewish one. The past echoes like a bang on the present. Little has changed in the past two thousand years in the world's attitude towards the Jews and their homeland.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
