Sharmine Narwani on Zionism

As mentioned yesterday, Shai Baitel's blog post on Zionism has let us see the true colors of many Israel haters. Finally, one of their chiefs have weighed in, Sharmine Narwani.

Note the numerous lies required for this narrative of events to work. Jews are no longer partly residents of Palestine for hundreds of years and partially refugees fleeing war-torn Europe, they are "foreign invaders" who wish to "expel and subvert" the "indigenous Arabs". The Zionists wanted to create a purely Jewish state and killed anyone who got in their way. And, of course, the biggest lie of all, most of the land in Palestine was and is owned by the Palestinian (Arabs).

But at least Narwani is finally on the record of supporting the destruction of Israel, as she declares Zionism to be a colonial-settler movement that "cannot last". Nice to know such a reasonable, non-bigoted person is on staff as a blogger on the Huffington Post.

And after a pro-Israel poster dared to challenge her, she spewed this series of lies:

Can you count the lies? "zero chance of a Palestinian state," "occupied Palestinian lands," "Jewish-only roads," "Lieberman and Netanyahu are the true face of zionism," "Zionism is a fantasy for horrendous crimes against the Palestinian people". Despicable.

  1. Sharmine Narwani overlooks the fact that from the British Mandate onwards, the Palestinian Arabs rejected every compromise that would have been to their benefit and their situation grew steadily worse. She and the PalArab leaders have been telling Palestinian Arabs lies for decades and in all that time, not one Arab has gotten what they could have gotten at any point in the past 60 years. The answer is simple: its not the Zionists that did the Palestinian Arabs in - the Palestinian Arabs and their palsbara apologists like Narwani, who have been their own worst enemies. If they ever figure it out, the Middle East might just see peace. Until then, they will continue to rot in their own self-inflicted misery. A fate the Narwanis of the world have no intention of setting them straight.

    Total Nonsense
The Palestinian people have never had an opportunity to vote on the partition in any way. Not in 1948 not in 2008
Fatah and Hamas rejected them though, seeing as they were quite horrible deals. Which is pretty telling since both fatah and hamas were created by israel.
If even your created political parties won't agree with your deal you know it must be a bad one.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
