Comment of the Day

The Huffington Post covered a story about Facebook allowing Holocaust denial pages to stay up, despite the requests of survivors to take them down. Most of the thread was arguing about whether or not free speech applied, and deleted comments indicate that Holocaust deniers did eventually show up. Others claimed that "research" of the Holocaust should be allowed, skating the line admirably. Others were not deniers, but still pretty ignorant:

  1. It is always, only a matter of time until "chosen one" appears in any and all comment threads on Israel. It really is quite interesting that the only people who ever use that term, or even elude to it, are the very people that have a problem with "Jews". Yes, bring your haters, your anti-semites, and your bigots, to shout "the chosen ones".

I'm beginning to truly believe that it is the antisemitic crowd, the Jew haters themselves, that think Jews are superior. Hence the hatred. (in part of course)

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. Comments that do so will get deleted on sight. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
