Republican Jewish Event? Gripe Fest Ensues

In a follow up to the earlier Ron Paul story, most of the Republican candidates went to a forum of the Republican Jewish Committee to talk about the issues that are most important to Jews, including Israel of course. By now it's finished so you can take what you will from the actual events. As for the Huffington Posters themselves, it was usual stuff. Even though they consistently complain about Jews trying to equate Jewishness and Israel, they didn't mind doing the same here:

It continues to amaze me how the Huffington Posters either don't know or don't care that everyone at the meeting were Americans, just Americans who happen to like Israel more than they do. I can't wait for a day on the Huffington Post where people are able to talk about Israel without accusing each other of dual loyalty and other classically anti-Semitic canards. Wouldn't that be nice?

  1. So the author really doesn't see the scandal of holding a debate on US-Israeli relations and totally excluding Ron Paul from the debate because he has a dissenting view. Most people would consider a debate where everyone agrees to be pretty stupid and pointless

Not to mention the overall strangness of our politicians pledging unconditional suport to a foreign entity

Personally I look down on anyone who went to that debate. They should have boycotted it in solidarity with Dr Paul

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
