Accumulating "favorites" on comments is a pursuit common among forum members, especially on the Huffington Post. Here at HPM, we always seek to help HP posters gain favorites for their comments. Today's example is something that is very valuable to any budding poster:
Pretty standard anti-Israel rhetoric (note the description of Israel as "the entity"), familiar to anyone who spends a lot of time on the HP as the work of "fairwayhill/walnutriver," a poster banned several times for spamming these kinds of posts. What's interesting about this post, though, is that it was posted on a Religion thread about an Ultra-Orthodox pedophilia ring busted by the cops in Israel.
The lesson here is that any kind of anti-Israel rhetoric will earn you a lot of favorites, no matter how off topic. It also means that "mere anti-Zionists" clearly read articles about Jews behaving badly, and wait for someone to say something that they can jump onto. So much for anti-Zionism not equaling anti-Semitism.
