News the HP Doesn't Cover: Bomb Explodes in West Bank

In their ongoing effort to clamp down on any signs of terrorism coming from the West Bank, the Huffington Post missed this story about a bomb going off near the West Bank security fence.

"A bomb exploded Sunday night near the West Bank security barrier, northwest of Ramallah. There were no reports of injury or damage.

Israeli defense officials believe the explosive device was meant to target an IDF force. Israeli security forces were combing the area in search of the perpetrators.

The device apparently consisted of a gas tank placed inside a tire, to which a detonator was attached.

The bomb was planted near the security barrier, in an area that is frequently patrolled by IDF forces. The device apparently exploded prematurely for unknown reasons.  "
I guess for the HP, like most media outlets, "if it doesn't bleed, it doesn't lead."
