Selective Reporting on Iran Continues

I wrote last week about how the Huffington Post will only publish "experts" talking about Iran when they are saying that military action is not feasible, and when they find one they will immediately jump on it and give him prime headline space. We see another perfect example of that with General Martin Dempsey:

I wouldn't mind these kinds of articles so much if it weren't for the fact that it is always the same thing: Thousands of comments bashing the usual suspects for the far left: The government, the 'military industrial complex,' etc. That occupies half of the comments, the other half is dedicated exclusively to blaming Israel and the Jews for everything. If you think I am exaggerating, check out some dual loyalty charges made against Joe Lieberman (which I'm sure has nothing to do with the fact that he is Jewish):

I can't help but wonder if the Huffington Post editors publish all these just because they know it will get everyone's dander up.

  1. Or it simply aligns with their own beliefs. I've seen comments posted suggesting Jews should be stripped of their citizenship and deported, 100% of them. HP has no problem with that.

  2. It is quite clear that HP and its fellow travelers believe that if only Jews didn't exist everything in the world would be perfect. The ultimate target is not Israel, it is Jews in general.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
