Linda Milazzo Brings the Hate

Even for the Huffington Post, blogger Linda Milazzo is well known for...let's call them "emotional outbursts." She made such a big impression that we gave her her own tag and feel free to peruse some of her history (including lies about Israel and accusations of dual loyalty) if you are so curious. But the subject of the day is a little more direct:

Rabbi Shmuley Boteach wrote an article about a Canadian TV host who pulled a Rick Sanchez and declared that Jews influenced the media to make Christians look bad, a classically anti-Semitic trope. For some reason, this really really pissed off Ms. Milazzo and she launched a hateful attack on the Rabbi complete with insults and off topic screeching about Israel. As always click to zoom in:

Be sure to note the number of favorites and how long it has been allowed to remain. Even on a website populated by the likes of MJ Rosenberg and Sharmine Narwani, this is the most insulting comment I have ever seen made toward a Huffington Post blogger (let alone by another blogger). The article wasn't about Israel, and although some Huffington Posters tried to stay in denial, he had a pretty clear case for writing his article. Ms. Milazzo just saw an opportunity to act like an attack dog, and took it.

If someone would like to show me another post like this but directed at a blogger who isn't a Jew or pro-Israel, please put it forward. I'd love to see it.

Update: While we're on the subject, here's a tweet she sent us from earlier:

It's nice to know that some things don't change.

  1. Part of LM's tweet reads as follows:
    "Sorry I'm American, Matt".
Absolutely no further comment necessary :-).

  2. The said Canadian TV host is a bit of a Judeophile and quite pro-Israel. I caught part of the show in question and it seemed they were talking past each other, there was a flare-up, yelling and then time ran out. Most unsatisfactory.

The TV host is going on and on about it and it seems so is Boteach. Both have audiences. If time permits I might solve the riddle.

This blog has details and links to clips; you'll have to go back in time:

The blog is very pro-Israel and takes a lot of shots at uber-liberal Jews; deserved in my opinion.

Note that this occurred on Canada's new SUN TV station. Critics called it "Fox News North" prior to it getting started. I think they're doing a better job than Fox in many respects, especially as far as Israel is concerned.

  3. Here's a very recent interview done by Michael Coren.

You will see why I believe Boteach overreacted.

  4. OT a great short piece to an article about Arianna posted on Business Insider and 'Uncrunched'. Seems that people in the know commonly recognize Arianna to be an unglued psychopath.

  5. Milazzo's comment is beyond insane. Proof? She fails to include a muslim in her list of "dangerous and dishonest religious leaders". I bet she doesn't have to balls to name one - only Christians and Jews will suffice - and she knows no Christian or Jew will do anything about. And calling Michael Jackson just "troubled" is the gross and dishonest understatement of the year. Michael Jackson, Linda Milazzo, and every Islamic religious figure on planet earth are the real dangerous and dishonest ones.

  6. Can Milazzo explain what did the tv show "Shalom in the home" have to do with antiSemitism? OR Rabbi Boteach books The Kosher Sutra, Kosher sex,and many others have to do with antiSemtism? I can't be certain about what Michael Jackson wanted, but according to Rabbi Boteach in prologue of his book (regarding the taped conversations) he claims the book is being published because it was M.J's desperate wish. I don't recall him saying antiIslamic comments like Graham Jr. But what was this sinful reference that she accuses Graham of from week previous to her post? He questioned if Obama was a true Christian at heart! He did however apologies to Obama afterwards. So when you criticize or say something silly towards a Democrat, according to extreme leftist that makes you dangerous and dishonest. But what does she do in her posts? You got it. She makes equal or even worse personal attacks. So I guess she in her own words is dangerous and dishonest. But unlike Graham, she doesn't apologies!

  8. Has HuffPo blamed the tornadoes on the Jews yet? They probably will

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
