HPW: Irving Moscowitz Donates Money

As an addendum to Zach's blog post on the HP article about Irving Moscowitz, here is the anti-Semitic and anti-Israel comments made on the fully moderated thread. Ad hominem attacks on Moscowitz like "old fool" were not grabbed, but just a couple examples of comments calling him a "foreigner" were, to show how the aforementioned HP headline misled the readers. Clearly we missed some as it amassed more than four thousand comments.

(The Holocaust was mentioned once in the article as a shaping force in Moskowitz's life. There is no evidence that he "abuses the memory" of it at any point.)

(There were dozens of these kinds of dual loyalty comments)

And finally, even though the Huffington Post tried its level best to direct that hate at Moskowitz alone, by sheer coincidence Israel bashing received the top favorited comment in the thread:

Well done, Paul Blumenthal and the Huffington Post.

  1. News HP doesn't cover: The American Nazi Party is officially registered lobby with the American government now.,7340,L-4215732,00.html

  2. With comments now at 4,721 and more comments still "pending", with cries the likes of "terrorist", "scammer" and "treason", etc., these people are all clueless and will attack anyone who supports Israel in any way, shape, or form. Whether it be money, verbally, or otherwise,
they just can't stand anyone supporting Israel. Meanwhile, they support, defend and excuse the killing and attempted cold blooded murder of Israel's civilians on a grand scale.
They scream about money going to Israel yet have no problem at all with money going to the Palestinians, even posting links to give money to the Palestinians, that eventually end up paying for the rockets and missiles used against Israel.

    Anti-semitic, anti-Israel, anti-humanitarian hypocrites.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
