Dead Kids in Syria, HuffPosters Harden Their Hearts

Take a look at the one of the latest headlines on the Huffington Post:

The Huffington Post editors had everything in place for a clickfest: A jarring statistic, a national tragedy, even a bloody shirt to wave. They just missed one crucial ingredient, i.e. an easy way to blame a Western power such as America and Israel for it. Some Huffington Posters did, of course, but we'll get to that.

Now how do you think most of the Huffington Posters reacted to this story? As you might not be surprised to hear, none of them gave a crap. Let's take a look at some of the top favorited comments:

Yep. Whatever. Nobody cares. Children are dying everywhere so why should we left a finger to help them? So much for all that double talk about human rights, huh?

Next up we have our deflections onto America, which even if unintentional does a masterful job of trying to justify the actions of Syria's repressive military dictatorship.

A couple of political statements later and we are finally on to our Israel bashing section. Between this article and the one about the fence it just goes to show that even when Israel doesn't do anything wrong the haters will continue to hate:

And the whining about "human rights" becomes that much more hypocritical.
