HP Bias Towards Iran: Definitive Analysis

It's always nice to get a second opinion on the Huffington Post and its biases. Today we have the work of the Iran 24/07 team, which has published a comprehensive and in depth look at the Huffington Post's coverage of Iran in the recent months. Check it out.
Is the Huffington Post’s editorial treatment of Iran biased? Some claim it is, some claim it isn’t, usually depending on their political orientation. Like any other, bias claims have to be based on facts and statistics. Iran 24/07 team analyzed  articles concerning Iran over 3 months (February -April 2012). Two immediate conclusions rise from the analysis:
The HuffPost publishes more pro-Iran content than anti-Iran content by a ratio of 4:1.
The HuffPost staff writes less than 40% of all the Iran-related articles, but is responsible for 85% of the pro-Iran articles.

The articles and our analysis are documented in a file you can download right here- We encourage you to check, review and give us your own opinion on the process. The file consists of article information and links, source (Huffpost/shared media), political opinion reflected and other parameters."
Pretty definitive, I would say. Big thanks to the team for having the patience and stamina to examine all 50+ articles.

  1. LMAO

There are articles on the huffingtonpost openly advocating violent aggression against Iran. They have several articles advocating the support of officially designated terrorist groups in Iran. And many articles advocating economic warfare against them

Good luck finding an article that suggests we should even stop supplying Israel with weapons

    1. actually you can download a table concentrating all written articles by the Huff Post on the Iran issue at the 24/07 site (linked above) and check it out for yourself..

  2. Where are these articles about ADVOCATING violent aggression against Iran? How many articles vs articles denouncing any military action against Iran. Your suffering from cognitive dissonance.

There are many op-eds even on HP throughout the years which have suggested the U.S. stop giving foreign aid to Israel and some saying to all Middle East. Your living in a Pro Iranian bubble anonymous. There should be more articles supporting economic sanctions against Iran. It's only the right thing to do.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
