In one of its many Jewish and history-related puff pieces, the Huffington Post covered an article about Christopher Columbus, and specifically the theory that he was secretly Jewish and pretended to be Catholic to avoid Christian persecution. According to many of the HP commenters, this theory isn't new, it's been around for a while. The vast majority of comments were complaining about Columbus' "genocide of the natives," but because this is the Huffington Post, there were some comments pushing anti-Semitism. Also, there were over 30 pages of comments, so I didn't read them all, this is just what I got in the first 10 or so.
Huffpost Approved. But remember, there's no anti-Semitism on the Huffington Post, just criticism of Israel's actions.
