What Happens on the HP When Israel Calls for Peace

The Huffington Post covered the news that Israel and the PA issued a joint statement about achieving peace. Here's what part of the joint statement said:
"Israel and the Palestinian Authority are committed to achieving peace and the sides hope that the exchange of letters between President Abbas and Prime Minister Netanyahu will further this goal."
Those are the facts of the case. Now let's see how the HP covered it.

Here's the biased picture:

The caption for the picture reads: "Protestors with their hands tied, eyes blindfolded and mouths taped take part in an Arab Jewish demonstration in the city of Jaffa, near Tel Aviv, against the administrative detention of Palestinian prisoners held in Israeli jails on May 12, 2012. (DAVID BUIMOVITCH/AFP/GettyImages)"

What does the administrative detention of Palestinian prisoners have to do with this story? Nothing. Why did the HP choose this picture instead of a generic one of Netanyahu and Abbas? Well, why choose an objective picture when you can just as easily use an anti-Israel one?

Naturally, the HPers reacted with outrage to the idea of Israel wanting peace. Check below for the top favorited comments (as we didn't have time to go through all 1,500+ comments)

Nothing is ever good enough for the Palestinians and their HP apologists.
