Amnesty International Criticizes Syria, HuffPosters Turn On Them

Most Huffington Posters trust Amnesty International. It's even a blogger there. But with all the problems that Amnesty International has, it does at least try to remain objective. And unfortunately yesterday they criticized the one sacred cow of the Huffington Posters: an anti-US Muslim country. Namely Syria. When the news broke on the Huffington Post that AI was accusing the Assad regime of war crimes, a torrent of criticism broke out. Not toward Assad for massacring his own people, but towards Amnesty International for telling the readership exactly what they didn't want to hear:

Sympathy for the victims of Assad is still in moderation, I guess.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
