Today's Attacks on Elie Wiesel

If you are reading this blog you probably already know who Elie Wiesel is, probably the most famous Holocaust survivor in the world today, among many other things. The Huffington Post has published an article about Mr. Wiesel working together with the Anti-Defamation League to speak up against anti-Semitism and right-wing extremism in the country of Hungary. The article was written by Katrina Lantos Swett, the President and CEO of the Lantos Foundation for Human Rights and Justice.

Now here's a question for you: how many of the Huffington Posters decided to completely ignore the actual content of the article and instead made vicious and small-minded attacks on one of the greatest human beings of the 20th century? If you answered "almost all of them" then congratulations you are a winner.

It goes without saying at this point that the Huffington Post moderators approved of all of these, bringing it that much closer to the likes of Stormfront and Veteran's Today.

  1. HP is, at best, a few months or even weeks from 'suggesting' that perhaps the wrong side lost WW2 and wouldn't things be just a little better if Germany had been allowed to complete their program. And it won't come from the letters, it will come from a columnist.

You know it, I know it, it's patently obvious at this point.

  2. Agreed, Trudy. And one of the most sickening things is that these repulsive creeps all think of themselves as purer-than-the-driven-snow humanitarians. And if you point out to them that Jews are people they will always have some excuse why Jews don't count as human.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
