HP Bias: Palestinian Authority Misbehaving

It's very rare for the HP to publish stories about internal Palestinian issues, because it's a little harder for the legions of Israel-haters to spin those stories so that they feel comfortable attacking Israel. However, the HP did publish not one but  two articles about the Palestinian Authority cracking down on "illegal weapons".
"Palestinian police say they have arrested more than 150 people, including security officers, during a crackdown on illegal weapons dealing in the West Bank.
The campaign is unusual because of its scope and because targets include gunmen linked to Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas' Fatah movement. Previously, security forces went mainly after armed supporters of rival Islamic groups."
This is somewhat interesting of a story, (no idea why it needed two articles) especially when you read between the lines and recognize it for what it is, the PA consolidating power. But why didn't the HP publish this article about the PA cracking down on...anti-peace protesters (h/t Elder of Ziyon).
"Palestinian protesters said security forces used brutal force Sunday during the second demonstration in as many days protesting Palestinian Authority policy.

Police attacked protesters with batons, beating and injuring at least seven people. Another seven protesters were taken to a police station along with at least two journalists, a Ma'an correspondent said. "
This news disrupts the carefully constructed HP narrative of the poor suffering Palestinians because it's news of Palestinians beating the crap out of other Palestinians, none of whom want peace with Israel. Better to just let this article fall by the wayside.
