The Huffington Post covered the news of a Palestinian man who was "repeatedly" tasered. The article took pains to point out it was "in front of his kids". What the headline didn't mention (though the article did) was that the man was interfering with police breaking up a brawl.
Before I post some of the comments (which are about what you'd expect, Israel is racist, fascist, apartheid, etc.), I'm going to post some of the top comments from another tasering thread, this time of a pregnant woman, also in front of her kids, also for interfering with police.
And now for the top comments for the tasered Palestinian. I also tossed in some anti-Semitism toward the end.:
While the two threads are not exactly the same situation, it's still striking how different the top comments are. I guess when you're a member of the chosen victims, you'll get a lot more sympathy from the HPers than a pregnant woman. It becomes less and less believable that the rage toward Israel is based on "sympathy for Palestinians" with each passing thread.
