Typical Comment of the Day

If I could pick one post to be an example of the average post on the HP, it could very well be this one.

Step one: Holocaust bait

Step two: Pretend to be acting out of concern for Palestinians

Step three: Spread blatant Jew hatred.

Step four: Declare "the world" would be happy if Jews were suffering.

The original link.

  1. By the end of the summer HP will print a column suggesting that the wrong side lost WW2 and perhaps the world would be a better place if the Shoah were 100% 'successful'.

  2. Two notes:
As is sometimes, not always, the case with the HP, this comment was so vile that the site moderators sent it to the trashbin.
Also, there's a flower poking through the dung heap that the source article so manifestly is: one of the students Solomon talks to actually says he knows that a Palestinian victory "might" mean the destruction of Israel, and both he and the other (much more extremist) student who are the center of the piece admit they have no fucking idea how to resolve this conflict. In times when it feels like most anti-Israel advocates are SO SURE they have the answers there--mostly variations on "replace Israel with a super-Palestinian state"--it's nice to hear the truth where we can find it.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
