BHL Calls Out Media, HuffPosters Blame Jews Anyway

French blogger Bernard-Henri Levy wrote a great blog post for the Huffington Post which needed to be written, in which he essentially calls out the media for publishing unverified rumors that the film 'Innocence of Muslims' was created and financed by Jews (thereby implying Jews were to blame for the film and the deaths it caused). This implication went over extremely well on the Huffington Post, where the readers are quick to blame Jews for anything and everything they think they can get away with. Here's Levy's conclusion:
"Where is the Associated Press's lead story that attempts to defuse the manipulation with an account of how the journalists of the agency, followed by the press the world over, allowed themselves to be led into this trap with such incredible guilelessness?
And the media that specialize in counter-investigation, counter-information, and fact checking? What are they waiting for to provide us with a blow-by-blow of these hours of collective intoxication in which everyone plunged, head first, into a story worthy of the crudest chapter of the "Protocols of the Elders of Zion"?"
What was the reaction of the HuffPosters? Blame the Jews anyway!

and of course some general Israel-bashing:

Facts? Who needs facts when we're full of rabid hatred?

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
