Ancient Well Found in Israel, Haters Hate

That's what happened on Friday, when the HP published a news article about an ancient well discovered in Israel, a well that dates back over 8,000 years to the Neolithic period. The vast majority of comments were either "What a cool find!" or "Ha, ha, religious people are stupid because they believe the world is only 5,000 years old." But the rest were simply attacks on Israel and "Zionists". Here's some examples:

  1. Ruby K's comment was too disgusting for the HP, it's been Removed. There were a few other comments that were also sent packing, and outside of a few lame attempts to tie the article's information to the Palestinians' heritage legacy, the comments were pretty cool (and interesting to me, as I don't have a background in this subject).
