We have an example of this in a recent article by Dan Rather who spoke about how Israel's Iron Dome is saving both Israeli and Palestinian lives. The article itself wasn't completely without fault, for example:
"Last year's conflict was its first wartime test. After Israel assassinated a top Hamas militant responsible for rocket attacks, Hamas rained hundreds rockets into Israel -- even as far as Israel's largest city, Tel Aviv."Ah yes, it all started when Israel fired back. When Israel kills a guy who has fired rockets onto them, that's somehow "starting" the conflict. Do you remember that even the Huffington Post said a day before the assassination that Israel was considering resuming them amid rocket fire? Apparently just about everyone forgot that part.
Let's not get sidetracked, however. The article was pretty good on the whole and Mr. Rather explained how Iron Dome helps keep everyone safe. Unfortunately, the Huffington Posters don't want everyone to be safe, they want the Palestinians to kill Israelis, and they made this very clear in the comments section:
And here's one more comment just so you know we are still on the Huffington Post:
