In the latest Palestinian Authority attention seeking behavior, Mahmoud Abbas has requested to change the name of the Palestinian Authority to "State of Palestine". How this will affect the Palestinian people's goal of destroying Israel and establishing a Palestinian state "from the river to the sea" is yet to be determined.
One would think that the top comments of the thread would all be things like "Hooray, justice for the Palestinians!" or other such tripe. But, predictably, it was just mindless anti-Israel spam. It is always nice to see the so-called "Palestinian supporters" making it clear that they really don't care that much about the Palestinians, not if there is an opportunity to go after their perceived enemies:
It seems that the Huffington Posters see the Palestinians the way the Arab states do: only as convenient victims whose plight can be used to bash Israel. But when the Palestinians do anything that doesn't involve fighting Israelis, such as establishing a state, the HPers could not care less.
