A Point of Comparison

If you haven't already seen it, check out what I just wrote about the story regarding Israel's "Prisoner X." If you didn't see it, it was basically a few hundred comments about how Israel is a Nazi criminal state who is evil, blah blah blah. I thought, if the Huffington Post wasn't infested with pure anti-Semitism, it would stand to logic that they would react this way toward bad behavior in any other state besides the Jewish one.

So for our first point of comparison, let's take a look at a story about Guantanamo Bay. After all, if Israel locking up one person makes them like the Nazis, wouldn't it stand to reason that America locking up hundreds of people would make a few hundred times as angry? Not to much as it turns out. Most of the top favorited comments were about how offended the Huffington Posters were that the headline referred to Gitmo as "'Obama's." So they set about defending their man while the comments that bashed the USA as a whole were limited to all of one.

Just goes to show their priorities, don't you think?

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
