Teen Stands For Gun Control, HuffPosters Hate

On Friday the Huffington Post's "Religion" section had a story about a Jewish teenager named Sami Rahamim, whose father was killed in a shooting in his place of business. After this, Sami has dedicated his life to push for better gun legislation and to help save the lives of people who may be affected by it. You'd think this would be right up the Huffington Post's alley right?

Unfortunately, buried deep in the middle of the article is an unfortunate truth: that both Sami and his father were and are supporters of Israel. And so the Huffington Post's talkback thread lit up with moderator-approved hate, including vicious attacks on Sami:

Nice of the Huffington Post's users to solidify its reputation as a hate site.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
