HP Bias: Another Palestinian Victim Gets the Royal Treatment

The Huffington Post has now clearly established itself as only caring about Palestinian victims of violence. Time and time again, it has ignored or marginalized Israeli victims of terrorism while highlighting and elevating Palestinian victims. Yesterday, it did it again.

The Huffington Post covered the news of a Palestinian protester who died when he was hit in the head by a rubber bullet. These incidents happen from time to time in the West Bank, when Palestinians riot and attack Israeli soldiers, and Israeli soldiers quell the riots using various "non-lethal" methods. What was the headline and picture for this story?

Full name of the victim and picture of his body. This Palestinian victim is getting the full treatment from the Huffington Post.

Just like Asfour here, Palestinian "victim" Mohammed Suleima also got his full name and picture in the Huffington Post. So did Vittorio Arrigoni, Western terror supporter who was kidnapped and murdered by a Palestinian terror group.

You know who didn't get their full name and picture in the Huffington Post? The Jewish children murdered in Toulouse. Israeli teenager Daniel Viflic, riding a school bus home in southern Israel. The Israeli soldier killed in a Gaza border clash. Christine Lukan, who was stabbed to death in the West Bank. The Fogel family, slaughtered in their home.

What about these people makes them not worthy of the attention that Asfour received? Only the Huffington Post editors know, and they're not telling. But we can take a guess.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
