Bloodiest Month in Syria Yet, HPers Not Interested

The Huffington Post editors did their best to try to get their readership interested in the latest news out of Syria: that 2,000+ civilians died there last month. The HP gave it a nice big headline:

But even with that, the readership couldn't bring itself to care. Most of the top comments were criticizing the West/President Obama for arming the rebels and/or cheering that the US isn't involved.

Where's all that concern about "human rights" and "international law" that we see so much in Israel-related threads?

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
