HP Bias: Cancer Victim Gets the Headline

The Huffington Post has once again elevated a Palestinian prisoner through its choices of photo and headline wording. It has a long history of doing this for Palestinians, most recently for prisoners Mohammed Asfour and Mahmoud Titi. Today, it happened again.

Believe it or not, Palestinians get cancer too, and even die from it. They don't all get executed by Israel at the age of 12. So when Palestinians rioted over the death of a prisoner from cancer, the Huffington Post was there to make sure we know this prisoner's name:

As always, Palestinian victims get a picture in the paper and their name in the headline. It goes without syaing that his crimes against humanity are buried deep in the body of the text. Even the Lebanese Daily Star and the far left Guardian newspapers didn't include the prisoner's name in their headlines:

The Huffington Post doesn't even try to hide its bias any more.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
