HuffPost Fail: Rogers Waters on Israel Boycott

Well, the Huffington Post, like those who interviewed Norman Finkelstein last year, shot itself in the foot yesterday when it brought on Pink Floyd's Roger Waters for what it undoubtedly hoped would be an Israel hate fest on its HuffPostLive segment.

But instead, Waters stated he's "considering his position." He went on to say, "I am thinking all of this through extremely carefully and I'm thinking it all through extremely carefully because I care more about the outcome, because I care about the people involved, than I do about the moment."

Needless to say, the brainwashed haters of the comments section did not react well to Waters' possible change of heart. There were very few comments posted on the thread, and those that were had a lot of hate behind them, simultaneously whining about how all "legitimate criticism" of Israel is unfairly called anti-Semitism and spreading anti-Semitic conspiracy theories to explain Waters' change of heart.

Even an HP blogger, "Binky Philips" came in to sarcastically insult Israel and its people, just in case you thought he was only critical of their policies (now deleted):

Nothing like a mouthpiece of the Huffington Post spreading hatred.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
