The Spin Carries On: Palestinian Vs. Israeli Death

By now you have probably heard about an Israeli who was stabbed to death in the West Bank by a Palestinian terrorist. The Huffington Post eventually did, but hours before that they covered a related story with a spun headline:

In classic Huffington Post (and AP) format, one gets the impression that Israel just decided to reach down and snuff out an innocent harmless Palestinian for no reason at all. Yet two paragraphs in we learn that he was part of an Al-Qaeda influenced group and was responsible for recent attacks on Israel. Three paragraphs in we hear the news about the Israeli stabbing:
"The strike came alongside the fatal stabbing of an Israeli settler in the West Bank, the first killing by a Palestinian of an Israeli in the territory in over a year."
I guess it's fairly obvious whose blood is more valuable to the Huffington Post. Stay tuned for comments.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
