Israel Hits Syria, HuffPost Brings the Bias

As you might have heard if you haven't been living under a rock, Israeli forces hit Syrian chemical weapons targets tonight. The Huffington Post covered the story with a ridiculously biased photograph choice:

"Hey, Israel is engaging a completely legitimate self-defense action against military targets of a despotic regime to keep chemical weapons from falling into the hands of genocidal terrorists who exist only to kill them! How can we possibly spin this to make the Huffington Post readership side against Israel?"

"Hey I know! Let's have the picture be a really, really ugly picture of Benjamin Netanyahu! He's a right-winger so the readership already doesn't like him!"

"Sounds perfect!"

So naturally the racism and hate of Israel flowed through the top favorited comments. Only one in the first page was supportive of Israel defending itself, though the majority was whining about "tax dollars." And the Huffington Post readership claim that Jews are the ones obsessed with money:

Just more "legitimate criticism." Still, it could be worse. At least the Huffington Posters didn't suddenly become fanatically "pro-Syrian" overnight. I guess that will come later.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
