Today's Personal Attacks on Alon Ben-Meir

On Friday Alon Ben-Meir wrote one of this classically incredible long and dense essays about the Middle East. Unfortunately this time he targeted one of the things that Huffington Posters love: Turkey. And not the food.
"Now that Israel has apologized, however, Turkey should move quickly to restore full diplomatic relations with Israel and certainly not make it contingent upon the removal of the blockade of Gaza.Turkey must spare no effort to demonstrate evenhandedness in dealing with Hamas and Israel. Erdogan's pending visit to Gaza offers a momentous opportunity to persuade Hamas to permanently forsake violence in favor of a political solution to the Israeli-Palestinian conflict."
Ah! So unreasonable! Naturally none of the Huffington Post readership felt like taking on Ben-Meir's actual arguments so instead they attacked him personally with full Huffington Post approval:

Classy as ever.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
