The Huffington Post covered the news of Israeli economic minister Naftali Bennett stating that when you catch terrorists, you should just kill them and that he's killed a lot of Arabs in his life. Obviously, not a point of view most people would agree with, but hardly the most controversial statement to come out of that conflict.
Naturally, the Huffington Post comment section blew up over 1,000 comments of moral righteous people wringing their hands over evil Bennett and his "genocidal" views. The same people, of course, who defend Palestinian terrorism on any other thread were making those statements, but that is besides the point.
As always, a good portion of the HP readership seized the opportunity to take Bennett's statement and declare all Israel, Israelis, and Jews responsible for the statement and guilty of sharing those views by proxy. Here's some comments:
Imagine if someone said the Palestinians should be ethnically cleansed based off the statements of one Arab minister. Double standards for Israel and Jews, as always.
