HuffPost Races to Defend Iran's President

Matt already commented that the Huffington Post actually covered the recent statement by Iranian President Rouhani that Israel is an "old wound" that must be removed. But as always, they covered it in the most blatantly spun way possible:

The source of the clear that it was "distorted?" Iran's state TV of course, we always trust them when they tell us something that the Huffington Post wants to hear. The Huffington Post raced to publish this second article after the first, even though the actual details were sketchy:
""News agencies distort Iran pres-elect Rohani's remarks on Quds Day," said a breaking news caption on Press TV. There were no further details."
Distorted how? The Huffington Post doesn't care, they need to feed the narrative of peaceful Iran and evil Israel.

If only they were so diligent when it comes to comments taken out of context from Naftali Bennett and Benjamin Netanyahu.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
