News the HP Doesn't Cover: Abbas Condemns Killings

In the interests of balanced reporting (which, as a blog, we are definitely not required to do), I thought we should cover this news, even as the Huffington Post attempts to move on from the soldier killings ASAP:
Speaking to a group of Jewish leaders in New York on Monday, Palestinian Authority President Mahmoud Abbas commented for the first time publicly on the killings of two Israeli soldiers in recent days, condemning the slayings.
Answering a question posed by former US secretary of state Madeleine Albright at a dinner hosted by the S. Daniel Abraham Center for Middle East Peace, Abbas condemned the murders of Sgts. Gal Gabriel Kobi and Tomer Hazan in separate incidents in the West Bank, as well as all instances of violence against citizens.
Hopefully he doesn't get in trouble with his people for "normalizing." That would be tragic.

  1. Why on God's grey fucking incomprehensible earth are American Jews inviting this genocidal mass murdering antisemitic holocaust denying fucktard to anything.

BY the way Abbas actual words were '...deplore the deaths of all civilians...' except both men were NOT civilians, they were soldiers. So isn't that nice. All the nice liberal NYT's worshiping shitheads just sat down to dinner with a nazi laughing at them and telling them that killing them is acceptable and good.

Hey guys we've started to employ a slight comment policy. We used to have completely open comments but then people abused it. So our comment policy is such: No obvious trolling or spamming. And be warned: unlike the Huffington Post we actually enforce our comment policy.
