Qatar vs. Israel: HPers Choose Qatar

The Gulf state of Qatar made headlines in the Huffington Post recently for using slave labor to build stadiums for the World Cup. Naturally, most of the "mere critics of Israel's policies" had nothing to say about that. But when the news came out that Qatar removed the Israeli flag from a swimmer's lane during a swimming competition, the posters came out in support of Qatar. Apparently you can be a backwards 12th century theocracy that still uses slavery and you'll still be morally superior to Israel in the eyes of the brainwashed. Take a look at some of the responses to this article about singling out Israel and mixing sports and politics.

Yes, when it's Qatar vs. Israel, Israel is the country whose "human rights violations" are criticized and whose destruction is called for. Just another day on the Huffington Post.
