HuffPost Spins Khameini Remarks, Hatred Ensues

Did you know that yesterday Iran's Supreme Leader Ayatollah Khameini said that Israel is a "rabid dog" that is "doomed to extinction" and accused France of "kneeling" before them? If you didn't, it's probably because you like to read the Huffington Post. There's nothing the HP loves to do more than sanitize the comments of Iran's leaders. Check out this headline:

The article itself is very short. Obviously the comments about Israel I quoted above are nowhere to be found while the Huffington Post made sure to include Kamenei quotes that made him sound as conciliatory as possible:
"Ayatollah Ali Khamenei also blasted U.S. government policies, including threats of military action, but said Iran has "no animosity'" toward the American people and seeks "friendly" relations."
Having been "primed" by the Huffington Post's biased coverage, the "Iran firstering" was on full display:

Maybe someday the Huffington Post will cover the news without their trademark spin. But today is not that day.
