It hasn't even been a week since the cold blooded slaying of an Israeli soldier by a Palestinian child soldier, and the Huffington Post's dehumanizing coverage of the event. In sharp contrast, today the Huffington Post covered some news about Israel "putting a Gitmo" you might say. Check out the outside headline and picture:
A bunch of IDF soldiers walking, a classic HuffPost picture. But I have to wonder why the "without trial" was tossed in there. After all, does the Huffington Post bother to point out when other Al Qaeda suspects are held without trial by other countries. Like say, the USA in Guantanamo Bay? Seems pretty clear to me that the Huffington Post is just trying to find something that the readership can use to attack Israel. The bias continues when you click the inside headline:
So yet again the "without trial" appears and yet the Huffington Post was able to dig up his name this time! How unsurprising that an Israeli soldier will remain namelessly and forgotten while a suspected Al Qaeda terrorist is shilled for sympathy. Take a look at how other major newspapers headlined this story:
One of these things is not like the others. And that one is the Huffington Post.
