When a mosque is graffitied in Israel, the Huffington Post is there. But when people are attacked, it cannot be found:
A couple driving along a road in the West Bank near the settlement of Tekoa were hurt after their car was attacked with a firebomb in the early hours of Friday morning.
The couple managed to escape with some non-life threatening injuries and were being treated at hospital. The car was reportedly burned to a crisp.IDF and emergency services were at the scene. Soldiers were sweeping the area to try to determine where the attack originated.“It is a miracle we didn’t start the day with two funerals. Until when will the government keep sticking its head in the sand, chasing a peace process that is dead even before it has begun?” asked the head of the Gush Etzion Regional Council, David Perl, of which Tekoa is a part.“I call on the government to pull itself together and stop participating in this charade that only brings terror upon us,” he added.IDF Spokesman Peter Lerner tweeted a picture of the damaged car, with the hashtag “terror doesn’t pay.”
